  Analisys of Colombian and Italian culture through Hofstede model If we start to analize and compare Colombian a Italian culture, we could find that there are few diferences and things in common. Through Hofstede model, we can observe that our Country Colombia has a score of 67 in the dimension of Power distance, this score can be consider as intermediate, and the reason of this is that Colombians are familiarized with inequality, they believe that inequality among people are a simply fact of life, and we think that this happen because in the whole colombia's history there're l eaders who have a lot of concentrated power compared to others Colombians. Meanwhile. In Italy has a score of 50, a lower score compared with Colombia and this is because Italians  tends to prefer equality and a decentralisation of power and decision-making. According to Lewis model the italian culture is placed between linear and multiactive categories because Italians are oriented in the activities they do in their daily routine and talk most of the time, this mean that Italians tend to be loquacious with eachother. This is related with the fact that communication is importan in the business in this country, also Italians are emotional and they usually show their emotions as something normal to others and italian people often do many activities at the same time. HAVE YOU EVER HAD THIS IDEALS ABOUT ITALIAN CULTURE? This drawing represent those tipicall stereotypes that people commonly have when they think about Italy. In the drawing we can observe the Spaghetti and Pizza, this represent the idea that people have of Italians that they like too much and they know perfectly how to prepare spaghetti and Pizza.   All of us know that gender stereotypes exist since ever and every culture in any country may have those ideals, in this entry on this post we're going to focus on those stereotypes that are related with the genre especially in our country Colombia and the other country we choose which is Italy. Lets talk about comercials, in these countries we can see a lot of content that incite the spreading of genders stereorypes like women doing home labors and men arriving from their job, or women cooking to sell new kitchen products, or men appearing in comercials that are related to workout and others.
